Who we're looking for
Middle to lead engineers with real AI delivery
- 3+ years professional software engineering, with production AI/ML work
- Strength in at least one area: LLM apps & RAG, ML engineering, MLOps, CV, data engineering, or AI full-stack
- Python and modern tooling; cloud experience (AWS, GCP or Azure)
- B2+ English — you'll talk to client engineers and product owners directly
- Reliable, proactive communicator who is comfortable with remote, async work
- Able to overlap 4+ hours with US Eastern or Central European hours

Who are you looking for?+
Middle, senior and lead software engineers with hands-on AI/ML experience — LLM applications, ML engineering, MLOps, data engineering, computer vision, or full-stack developers who ship AI products. Typically 3+ years of professional experience and B2+ English.
Is it employment or freelancing?+
You work as an independent contractor (or through your own company) under an agreement with NexusDevs, on long-term projects for our clients. No bidding, no marketplace fees.
How long does the hiring process take?+
Usually 1–2 weeks: resume review, a 30-minute intro call, a technical interview with a senior engineer, and a short practical assignment or portfolio deep-dive.
Do I need to be available immediately?+
No. Tell us your availability and we'll plan matches accordingly. Many engineers join the pool while finishing a current contract.
Where do I need to be located?+
Anywhere, as long as you can overlap at least 4 hours with US Eastern or Central European working hours and can invoice as a contractor.
